I had posted the last time that my Navi (small) is totally next to the target. I wanted to go looking for the mistake now, since I suspect that a defective antenna cable or. a defective GPS receiver could be the reason. Had already developed the GPS antenna and found that someone at the plug connection of the antenna cable in the tailgate has patched up with a lot of iso band . Unfortunately, I do not have a corresponding plug to renew the cable connection. But my question to an A8 driver with Navi (small) would be the following to further circle the problem: What display do you have in the Navi menu under the item "GPS data"? - I don't see anything - so I suspect the Navi unit has no connection to the antenna (or. the receiver is defective) Thank you for your help and another nice evening Greetings from Northern Hesse Daniel
Leider kann ich dir auf deine Frage noch keine Antwort geben, aber ich habe eine Frage. Im Moment hab ich kein Navi, bekomme aber in zwei Wochen eins, Frage: Kann mein Kombiinstument die Navianzeige anzeigen oder brauche ich auch ein anderes Kombiinstument?
Ich bin da absluter Nicht-Fachmann und darüber hinaus mit meinem Becker Traffic Pro auch sehr zufrieden. Aber: Ich glaube das geht nur dann mit dem vorhandenen Kombi-Instrument, wenn dieses schon ein farbiges FIS hat.

ich greife das Thema nochmal auf, weil ich auch einen A8 BJ. 95 habe, mit dem roten Tacho - und irgendwie als Neuling durch verschiedene Artikel jetzt total durcheinander / verunsichert bin....
1. Frage: habe ich ein FIS bzw. gibt es überhaupt A8 ohne ?? Ich dachte, diese BC / Verbrauchsanzeigen sowie Radiosender bzw. CD/ Track-Anzeigen seine das FIS......oder irre ich da ? Und da ich auch gerne ein kleines Navi nachrüsten würde, Frage Nr. 2: Bzgl. der "umcodierung......wie gehe ich da vor, zu Audi gehen und sagen, "tach, bitte einmal den Tacho umcodieren.." oder ist das ein "Spezialjob" für Spezialisten?
Also wenn ich das richtig verstehe, brauche ich ..
sind letztere bei der kleinen Navi damals auch in der Mittelkonsole verbaut worden wie jetzt z.b. im aktuellen A4 mit keiner Navi ? Das würde doch bedeuten, ich müsste die Mittelkonsole modifizieren, oder ? (würde gut passen, wenn ich die Armlehnen Nachrüste....)
Und kann ich dann die Navigationsansagen über das bei mir eingebaute Radio Delta ausgeben lassen ?
