have a little understanding problem: when I switched the climate on the cold start on disks last time, the idle rise, the compressor and the air-conditioning fan (stage 1) started immediately.
Shouldn't the cold engine just try to heat or is the start of the cooling function intended for dehumidification?
My climate did not show any coolant temperature sensor (G 62), no error.
Does it make sense to retrofit the coolant temperature sensor?
Is the air conditioner defective?

Meiner ist aus selbem Baujahr und macht genau das Gleiche bei Defrost.
Ich fahre daher immer mit AUTO oder BI-LEV.
Da wartet er auf warmes Wasser.

Normal und so gewollt... Grund hast du selber erkannt...
Geber nützt nix... wo willst den anpinnen? würde die Klima damit was anfangen können wäre sie wohl auch damit ausgestattet... stattdessen läuft ab Motorstart ne Art Countdown um den KühlwassertemperaturAnstieg zu simulieren, das reicht ja eigentlich...

Dachte ja nur wegen dem Geber, der Stecker ist da, aber der Geber ist ab Werk eingespart.

P.S. ist mein erster Winter mit V8 
du willst ja, dass der Kompressor nicht mitläuft... also mach Econ... denn auf Auto macht er was ihm grad einfällt, ab 4°C Aussentemp schalter er den Komp ein wenns ihm dazu beliebt..
Ja, habbich auch schon bemerkt. Hab bis jetzt (Sommer war ja auch nicht so prall, dass man wirklich Kälte brauchte) auch nur ECO angehabt.

So not just full steam with warm water

auch letztes Jahr gewechselt, zu erst kams auch mit Geber, zurückgegeben und dann kam doch eins ohne...
aber interessant, dass er offensichtlich richtig funktionieren würde... aber wieso hat man ihn sich gespart?
