Hello everyone!

Still have the problem with the error code 00515-030 < G40 ! My Boschman will soon be "irre" , but fortunately (still!) ambitious .Maybe some of the others can give him some tips about the matter or had the problem :

This error message can only be deleted until the next engine start.
The following have already been exchanged :

1.Revealer new
2. OT - and speed sensor new
3. Original Lambda probe new
4. Other similar motor control unit for comparative purposes

The individual voltage values for this are all OK , measured at the output of the ECU.

Nevertheless, the Lambda probe does not regulate, CO2 is thus at 1-1.5%, even at increased speed quite constant.

Consumption is then so around 16-17 L with sensen cross country drive, one also smells, that he runs far too fat, engine runs a bit "stitched".Before the problem he ran with 12-13 L and full power, but also smelled a little (significantly less) after fuel.
So he's running in some sort of emergency run program, but why ?????????

For many suggestions we would be grateful !

(Perhaps one can speak directly with my "Boschmann" !?! He'll know more than I do in things like this. )

I (we) count on you!

MFG Marko

Hello everyone,

now the resolution of the problem :

So, for a long time, my "Boschmann" has now found the culprit of error G40: It was "simple"
on the tooth strap skipped around a tooth !!

This had been renewed at the purchase in March of this year at a V8 dealer ! So before 2,500 km! By the way, the two tensioners had not been renewed with , does also more work The Wapu, though.

Only by chance is then noticed when setting the timing belt, which the timing belt had already torn strongly in one place. If it were cunning... Amen!

During the subsequent disassembly turned out then also, why: A screw had wedged on the lower timing belt disc, the screw then was torn in 2 parts!

How did she get there? Obviously, nowhere is a screw missing ...

Anyway, the mistake is found, such and other works that I cannot/will not do myself, only in the workshop of my trust, which I have now found for me!

That only to the current state of things, I am delighted, both as well!!

MfG & beautiful 1.Advent

Hej,Marko,
schön daß du dich noch einmal meldest.Oft hört man ja

so long

Moin

Gruss harry
