Since my A8 last time the fault memory has been read out, the airbag lamp lights up after the start for a longer time and then goes out after about a minute.
Can there be any connection, or is that a coincidence? We had him in the WS because of another thing, and since we got him, this mistake has occurred.
Since the workshop of my trust now has company holidays (our A8 was the last "customer" before), I can't ask about it right now.
Or is it a kind of wobble contact?

I had that after I took out the fuse from the instrument cluster. ==References== from the airbag the fuse ... (wrote the wrong one)
After that, the lamp remained for 1 min. - No.
I then deleted the error with my laptop and VAG Com, after which everything was ok again.

Hallo Claudia, bei mir trat dieser Fehler irgendwann ganz plötzlich auf, die Airbaglampe leuchtete dann auch immer ca. eine Minute und ging dann aus. Ein freundlicher meinte dies könne schonmal vorkommen, z.B. wenn man vorher die Batterie abgeklemmt hätte. Da ich diese einige Tage vorher wirklich abgeklemmt hatte, dachte ich er könne Recht haben, obwohl ich da eigentlich keinen Zusammenhang sehen kann, schon gar nicht, da die Lampe erst ein paar Tage später anfing länger zu leuchten. Ich solle den Fehlerspeicher löschen, dann sollte es wieder gut sein, meinte er noch. Gesagt getan und tatsächlich, seitdem ist wieder alles in Ordnung.

Danke Euch beiden. Ich glaube, die WS war auch am Sicherungskasten (ist der zufällig im Fußraum des Beifahrersitztes?).

Hallo, ja der sitzt im Beifahrerfußraum rechts, jedenfalls der Hauptsicherungskasten. Mir sagte der von Audi noch, das wenn es wirklich ein Problem sein sollte, dann würde die Lampe gar nicht mehr ausgehen, so zeigt die Lampe wohl nur an, das es ein Problem gab und im Fehlerspeicher etwas zu den Airbags gespeichert wurde.
